Ashok Gehlot Exposes Delayed Development Projects in Rajasthan Under BJP
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Jaipur, March 23 (NationPress) Ashok Gehlot, the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and a prominent Congress figure, launched a new digital initiative via his X account on Monday, resonating deeply with political and emotional sentiments.
Named "Intezar Shastra" (The Science of Waiting), this series aims to draw attention to various projects that Gehlot's team claims are fully prepared for public use yet remain stalled due to the trivial politics played by the BJP-led state government.
In its inaugural episode, Gehlot sharply criticizes the current BJP administration in Rajasthan, suggesting that it has transformed governance into a prolonged delay.
According to Gehlot, the BJP's approach of "Intezar Shastra" signifies not merely administrative stagnation but poses a significant threat to the dreams and future of Rajasthan's youth.
The first episode prominently features the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Governance and Social Sciences (MIGSS), a flagship institution conceived during Gehlot's time as Chief Minister.
He shares visuals of the MIGSS building through his X account, stating, "Inspired by esteemed institutions such as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai) and MIT School of Government (Pune), MIGSS was designed to be a center for premier education in governance and social sciences. Constructed at a cost of Rs 233 crore on JLN Marg in Jaipur, the institute has reportedly been ready for use since 2024."
Gehlot claims that MIGSS remains unopened even to this day.
In a passionate plea, the former Chief Minister calls upon the current BJP government to set aside political divisions and dedicate what he describes as a "temple of learning" to the youth of Rajasthan without further procrastination.
"It has been a long ordeal of waiting that the people of Rajasthan have faced for over two and a quarter years," he stated.
Earlier on Monday, Gehlot announced the series launch, stating, "Coming soon... Intezaar Shastra," hinting at more such instances to be highlighted in upcoming episodes.
The first installment of the series was released on Monday at 6 p.m., marking the onset of what seems to be a sustained political narrative centered around governance delays, public infrastructure, and youth opportunities in Rajasthan.
Gehlot's team, in discussions with IANS, indicated that the series aims to showcase the substantial contributions made during his tenure as Chief Minister, which remain untapped due to the current BJP-led government’s political maneuvers.
This series is expected to run for approximately two weeks, as conveyed to IANS.
