Key Takeaways
Los Angeles, Feb 18 (NationPress) Hollywood star Walton Goggins is teaming up with Chloe Grace Moretz for the exciting action-comedy titled ‘Mister’.
The 54-year-old actor and the 29-year-old actress are set to lead Thunder Road’s forthcoming film, as reported by Female First UK.
Prior to Walton Goggins joining ‘Mister’, Josh Brolin was part of the project but stepped away due to scheduling issues.
According to Deadline, ‘Mister’ revolves around a man (played by Goggins) who awakens in an unfamiliar house, bloodied, and begins to uncover his true identity while battling a host of contract killers from his past, including ex-lovers and friends. To escape, he enlists the help of his estranged daughter (portrayed by Moretz), who also finds herself entwined in the family business, requiring them to mend their fractured relationship to survive.
Producer Basil Iwanyk stated, “Walton and Chloe form the ideal duo to embody Mister’s heart and humor while delivering some of the most ambitious and exhilarating action sequences audiences will experience this year.”
As reported by Female First UK, ‘Mister’ will be directed by Wade Eastwood, making his directorial debut after previously working on ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’.
The director expressed, “From our initial discussions, I realized Walton would inject an unpredictable energy that is impossible to replicate; he’s electrifying. Chloe contributes a remarkable blend of strength, vulnerability, and impeccable timing. Together, they make ‘Mister’ precisely what we aimed to create: bold, humorous, and entirely high-octane.”
Iwanyk and Erica Lee will be producing through Thunder Road. Recently, Walton Goggins appeared in the second season of Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Fallout’, inspired by the post-apocalyptic survival video game series from Bethesda Softworks.
The series features Lucy (played by Ella Purnell), Maximus (played by Aaron Moten), and The Ghoul (played by Walton Goggins) as they strive to survive in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles.
