Balaghat, Nov 11 (NationPress) In a shocking incident, a woman was violently killed by a man in the daylight hours of Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat district, according to police reports from Tuesday.
The horrifying event took place in Baihar town, a region predominantly inhabited by tribal communities, and was recorded by several bystanders on mobile devices, instigating widespread panic.
Footage circulated on social media depicted a man attacking the woman with a knife, subsequently slitting her throat numerous times.
The videos showed the woman lying motionless in a pool of blood.
Further viral clips displayed the assailant lying next to her, having fainted after the act, before he was apprehended by onlookers and handed over to law enforcement.
