New Delhi, July 22 (NationPress) The Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJA) has emerged as a remarkable success, benefiting over 1.10 lakh individuals, especially from tribal backgrounds, within a mere 15-day initiative.

Initiated by the Gujarat government from June 30 to July 15, this campaign saw the establishment of more than 750 scheme-oriented camps across various districts.

In just two weeks, over 1.10 lakh tribal beneficiaries from 21 districts accessed 22 scheme-oriented services right at their homes, with participation exceeding 5 lakh tribal community members.

Tribal Development Minister Dr. Kuber Dindor highlighted that this initiative aligns with the vision of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabki Bhagidari’, aiming to enhance the welfare of tribal families.

Through the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan, various government departments granted Aadhar cards to 22,226 tribal citizens, Ayushman Bharat cards to 22,287, and benefits under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to 13,962 farmers, along with ration cards to 11,313 individuals.

Additionally, the campaign provided Poshan Abhiyan benefits to 9,648 individuals, caste certificates to 8,207, and pension schemes to 3,724 people, among others.

“Under this scheme, 1,075 individuals benefited from PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 1,097 from PM Ujjwala Yojana, and additional benefits were extended to others under various government schemes,” he stated.

The campaign also facilitated 20,941 sickle cell tests and addressed 4,054 TB cases in the tribal area.

Minister of State for Tribal Development, Kunwarji Bhai Halpati, oversaw the program, motivating the officers, employees, and tribal beneficiaries involved.

The national ‘Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan’ was launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of 'Lord Birsa Munda'.
