Hanumankind, recognized as one of India's most vibrant and genre-blending music artists, will bring his electrifying energy to TUDUM LIVE, streaming from Los Angeles at 5:30 AM on June 1, 2025.
Having performed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in New York in 2024, Hanumankind began his professional rap career at NH7 Weekender, a multi-city music festival, and released his debut EP, Kalari, in 2019.
Choosing the name “Hanumankind” as a fusion of the revered Hindu deity Hanuman, symbolizing “honor, courage, and loyalty,” he collaborated with Charan Raj and Sanjith Hegde for the song “Maadeva” featured in the Kannada film Popcorn Monkey Tiger. His track “The Last Dance” is also part of the Malayalam film Aavesham.
The artist gained widespread attention with the release of his single and music video “Big Dawgs,” featuring Kalmi, in July 2024. The music video captures him performing in a classic carnival attraction known as the well of death, filmed in his hometown of Malappuram, Kerala.
Hanumankind had previously taken the stage at Coachella and in April, he expressed how deeply interconnected music is with daily life, emphasizing the remarkable achievement of South Indian artists, including himself, reaching an international audience.
In a statement, Hanumankind remarked: “Music is an integral part of my life. It surrounds you wherever you go, whatever you do; it's intertwined with the culture and language of the land.”
“Who would have imagined that a few individuals from the southern part of India would be making music and performing at Coachella? I take pride in everyone here and in our journey,” he concluded, celebrating the success of his latest single ‘Run it up.’
