He remarked that the celebration of 'National Startup Day' on January 16 was a significant milestone, and this pre-budget consultation serves as a continuation of that joyous occasion.
Emphasizing the vision set forth by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he stated, "Startup India is not just a government initiative; it embodies a 'Rainbow Vision' that integrates various sectors with innovative prospects."
The Chief Minister elaborated, stating that a startup is akin to an idea that must be nurtured into reality. "It is a small seed that, with appropriate support, can flourish into a massive tree," he noted.
With a determination to transform the nation into a developed entity by 2047, the government is persistently advancing at a rapid pace.
He highlighted the historic transformations occurring in the country today.
"Be it in infrastructure or other development projects, India is progressing at an extraordinary pace. The leadership of Prime Minister Modi has charted a new course for development, evident in each sector's progress," he asserted.
Welcoming insights from startup founders, the Chief Minister acknowledged the suggestions concerning ease-of-doing-business, funding, and technical assistance.
"Regardless of how minor an idea may seem, if it possesses strength and vision, it can swiftly alter the world," he emphasized.
He reported that over the last decade, the number of startups in the country has surged from 500 to over 200,000.
"Haryana has been pivotal in this growth, particularly in Gurugram and Manesar. The state is now home to over 9,500 startups, ranking seventh nationally in this domain. Furthermore, 19 unicorns have originated from Haryana," the Chief Minister concluded.
