Jerusalem, July 12 (NationPress) The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) reported on Saturday that it has been targeting terrorists and their infrastructure in the Gaza Strip over the past two days.

In a statement on X, the IDF noted, “IDF forces are actively engaged in striking terrorist infrastructure and individuals across the Gaza Strip: approximately 250 terrorist targets have been hit in the last 48 hours.”

“Units from Divisions 98, 36, 162, 143, and 99 are conducting operations guided by Military Intelligence and Shin Bet against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip,” it added.

Forces from Division 98 are currently operating in Gaza City’s Zaytoun and Shuja'iyya neighborhoods, according to security sources.

The IDF has reportedly located and dismantled explosive devices and observation posts utilized by Hamas and Islamic Jihad to ambush Israeli soldiers since Thursday.
