Paris, Nov 26 (NationPress) The Indian Air Force and the French Air and Space Force personnel have been collaborating effectively, performing diverse mission profiles and demonstrating exceptional skills during the bilateral Exercise Garuda 25.

According to a statement shared on X, the Indian Air Force remarked on Wednesday that the professionalism, precision, and cohesive teamwork are vital in enhancing interoperability and solidifying the strength of this bilateral relationship.

On November 17, the Indian Air Force's Su-30MKI fighter jets and the French Air and Space Force's Rafale aircraft took to the skies, initiating coordinated missions as part of the bilateral air Exercise Garuda.

The Indian Air Force is engaged in the 8th installment of the bilateral air exercise 'Garuda 25' with the French Air and Space Force (FASF) at Mont-de-Marsan in France from November 16-27.

The Indian Air Force mentioned that this exercise aims to further enhance interoperability, promote the exchange of best practices, and strengthen defense cooperation between the two Air Forces.

The IAF contingent is participating in the exercise using Su-30MKI fighter aircraft. The Ministry of Defence stated, "The airlift operations are being supported by the C-17 Globemaster III for the induction and de-induction phases, while the IL-78 air-to-air refueling tankers are utilized to extend the range and endurance of the participating fighters."
