The Embassy of Israel in New Delhi has confirmed the arrival of a prominent Israeli delegation to attend the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’ scheduled for next week.
This delegation, headed by Ilan Fluss, the former Ambassador and EDTs Policy Coordinator at Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, comprises senior government officials, technology leaders, researchers, and policy experts. Their goal is to enhance cooperation between Israel and India in areas such as artificial intelligence, climate resilience, ESG investment, digital governance, and responsible innovation.

“Our partnership exemplifies how advanced technology can harmonize with human values. Israel's presence at the India AI Impact Summit marks a significant advancement in our bilateral relations, positioning co-creation in AI, deep tech, and digital public goods as a bridge between our nations and a model for global collaboration,” Fluss expressed.
Israeli representatives will engage in high-level discussions and bilateral interactions focusing on AI applications for climate adaptation, precision agriculture, digital public infrastructure, workforce transformation, and the ethical governance of emerging technologies.
The agenda will also include discussions on innovative ESG models, impact investments, and public-private partnerships aimed at fostering inclusive and sustainable growth.
“Both India and Israel envision technology that serves humanity first. The Impact Summit underscores the profound trust between our ecosystems and our shared commitment to innovation that is inclusive, ethical, and responsive to societal needs,” stated Maya Sherman, Innovation Attaché at the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi.
In preparation for the Summit, the Embassy has organized a series of side events to encourage dialogue among Israeli and Indian stakeholders across academia, industry, and government.
During the main events of the Summit at Bharat Mandapam throughout the week, the Embassy anticipates collaboration with leading institutions and partners, including Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar (IIT-Ropar), Dhirubhai Ambani University, and the tech policy think tank The Dialogue, to further bolster bilateral engagement in AI and emerging technologies.
