The Indian squad completed the race with a time of 3:18.12s, marking their first-place finish and earning India's second gold in this prestigious Continental event. The silver medal went to China with a time of 3:20.52s, while Sri Lanka claimed bronze at 3:21.95s. By the end of the second competition day, India had amassed a total of eight medals, including two golds.
India's performances on Day 2 commenced with a silver medal in the women's 400m, where Rupal Chaudhary clocked 52.68 seconds to make it to the podium. Japan’s Nanaku Matsumoto clinched gold with 52.17s, and Uzbekistan’s Jonbibi Hukmova took bronze with 52.79s. Another Indian, Vithya Ramraj, finished fifth with a time of 53s.
