“With a concentrated emphasis on electrification, clean energy, and manufacturing, India is shaping a crucial chapter in the global energy narrative,” he further stated.
Earlier this week, PM Modi invited the international investment community to “create, invest, innovate, and expand” within the domestic power sector.
In a written address delivered by Pankaj Aggarwal, the Union Power Secretary, during the 'Bharat Electricity Summit 2026' in the capital, PM Modi proclaimed that India is at a transformative juncture in its energy journey as the globe's fastest-growing major economy.
“I urge the global community to make in India, innovate in India, invest in India, and grow with India. I believe this summit will foster meaningful discussions and lasting partnerships to fuel India's progress,” said the Prime Minister.
Regarding the Summit, PM Modi articulated that its goal is to unite the entire power and energy ecosystem on a singular platform to share ideas, encourage cooperation, and outline a collective path for the growth of the power sector and the enhancement of lives.
