Mumbai, April 27 (NationPress) Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse, in response to the recent Pahalgam terrorist incident, remarked on Saturday that India's retaliatory measures against Pakistan showcase the nation's robust policy towards those endorsing terrorism.

During a media interaction at an event organized by FICCI in Mumbai, the Union Minister stated, "The incident that took place in Kashmir has been condemned not only by our country but globally, as Kashmir is an indispensable part of India."

"Post the abrogation of Article 370, the people of Kashmir have experienced a significant transformation. Tourism in Kashmir has markedly increased over the years. The central government has rolled out numerous schemes that have benefitted the local populace. It is vital that the people of Kashmir are granted full developmental rights," she conveyed to the press.

Minister Khadse further asserted, "The Government of India envisions that Kashmir should advance alongside other states. The central government has initiated various development schemes for Kashmir, and the local community is reaping the benefits. However, this terrorist attack has once again raised security concerns. Both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister have adopted a stringent approach towards this incident and have guaranteed action."

The Union Minister noted reports concerning individuals being questioned about their religion in connection with this attack, which is alarming.

"Such occurrences must be treated with seriousness, and there needs to be a united response. India has further enhanced its strategy against terrorism."

Commenting on the retaliatory steps taken by India, such as the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and the revocation of visas for Pakistani nationals, Khadse stated that these measures reflect India’s unwavering stance against those who support terrorism.

The Union Minister also emphasized the significance of the FICCI event in Mumbai.

She stated, "The primary aim of this program was to foster women empowerment and rural development." Minister Raksha Khadse expressed her delight in attending her inaugural FICCI event, underscoring the platform's importance for women's advancement and national progress.
