Jaipur, Oct 3 (NationPress) Delivering a potent warning to Pakistan, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi asserted on Friday that India will no longer maintain the restraint exhibited during Operation Sindoor, and will eliminate Pakistan if it continues to engage in cross-border terrorism.
“We will eliminate Pakistan from the map of the world if they do not cease their terrorist activities. Get ready, and with God’s grace, the moment will come soon,” the Army Chief proclaimed while addressing troops at the Army cantonment in village 22 MD, Ghadsana, Sriganganagar.
“Our forthcoming response will be decisive and significantly more destructive against Pakistan,” he cautioned.
General Dwivedi emphasized that Pakistan must abandon its terrorism-supporting policies to secure its standing in the global community.
“This time, India will execute such strong measures that Pakistan will have to reconsider its existence on this geographical map,” he added.
Describing Operation Sindoor as a pivotal moment, General Dwivedi recounted that it was initiated following the Pahalgam terror attack.
“During this operation, the Indian Army dismantled nine Pakistani terrorist hideouts, resulting in the elimination of over 100 terrorists. Seven targets were neutralized by the Army, while two were taken out by the Air Force,” he explained.
The Army Chief remarked that this operation, named by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and dedicated to women, will be forever remembered by the armed forces.
“Operation Sindoor has become an inseparable part of our lives, and it will resonate with us eternally,” he stated.
General Dwivedi pointed out that the entire world condemned the Pahalgam attack and rallied behind India.
“We presented undeniable proof of the destroyed terror camps to the global community. Had we not done so, Pakistan would have concealed the truth,” he remarked, reiterating that India is completely ready this time.
General Dwivedi also honored three officers for their contributions to Operation Sindoor, including Commandant Prabhakar Singh from the 140th Battalion, BSF, Major Ritesh Kumar of the Rajputana Rifles, and Havildar Mohit Gera.
“These individuals exemplify the bravery and commitment of the Indian Armed Forces,” the Army Chief stated, urging soldiers to remain prepared for upcoming challenges.
