New Delhi, April 1 (NationPress) On Tuesday, Israel asserted that Hamas is persistently advocating for war, while simultaneously refusing to free the hostages.

During a media conference, Israel's Foreign Affairs Minister Gideon Sa’ar stated, “Hamas continues to advocate for the resumption of conflict, unwilling to release our hostages, and refuses to disarm.”

He further remarked that Hamas disregards the desires and anger of the people in Gaza, alleging that their true interest lies in the “cessation of the war.”

“However, rather than heeding their citizens, Hamas has brutally oppressed them. This week, they murdered demonstrators from the Gaza Strip after torturing them,” he claimed.

Sa’ar mentioned that the British Parliament recently released the most comprehensive report on the October 7th massacre, which unveiled disturbing details, including the shocking sexual crimes perpetrated by Hamas on that day.

“This is not an Israeli report; it is from the British Parliament. I recommend reading it,” he urged.

He also expressed Israel's expectation that Lebanon will take decisive action against terrorist organizations operating within its territory that target Israel.

“We have witnessed collaboration between Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas within Lebanon to launch terrorist strikes against Israelis. Early this morning, IDF fighter jets targeted a Hezbollah operative in Beirut. Lebanon has been aiding Hamas terrorists in an effort to execute a significant imminent assault on Israeli civilians,” he asserted.

Sa’ar emphasized that this terrorist posed a genuine and immediate risk to Israel. “What we refer to as a ticking bomb. Therefore, we were compelled to neutralize the threat. Israel will persist in eliminating any dangers to our citizens,” he stated.

Moreover, Sa’ar announced plans to visit Paris to address the challenges and threats posed by the radical axis in the region, particularly Iran.

“Once again, its leader declared just yesterday his intention to exterminate the State of Israel,” he remarked.
