Authorities reported that a woman, returning from a religious gathering (satsang), was allegedly sexually assaulted and killed in the Bhadaninagar police station area of Ramgarh. The suspect was apprehended in Ranchi district shortly after the incident.
According to Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar, the victim's body was found on Saturday morning near the Chaingarh flyover. Following a report filed by the woman's husband, a murder case was initiated, leading to an investigation.
The inquiry uncovered that the woman had been waiting for transport near Chaingarh after attending the satsang. A truck driver, identified as Suvindra Yadav from Sherghati in Bihar’s Gaya district, allegedly approached her under the guise of offering a ride.
