The event attracted an impressive turnout of hundreds of job seekers from various regions of the district.

A total of 28 esteemed companies from sectors such as hospitality, automobile, education, banking, and other service industries participated in the job fair.

These companies collectively presented 1,024 job openings, with many conducting immediate interviews and some issuing provisional appointment letters on the spot.

"This direct interaction between employers and job seekers has turned the fair into a highly effective and impactful platform. Alongside private firms, several line departments of the district administration also established awareness stalls to share information regarding important livelihood and self-employment schemes, including MUMKIN, Tejaswini, PMEGP, Mission YUVA, and NRLM," stated an official.

He added that these stalls were designed to promote entrepreneurship and guide youth towards government-supported opportunities for self-reliance and development.

On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla presented appointment letters to two selected candidates and engaged with job seekers and company representatives.
