Mumbai, October 20 (NationPress) – Karan Mehra, known for his role as Naitik in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently shared insights into his Diwali plans during a conversation with IANS.

The actor expressed, “Diwali has always held a special place in my heart. It brings back cherished childhood memories of illuminating the house with diyas, the delightful scent of homemade sweets, and the sheer joy of being enveloped by family and laughter.” He continued, “These simple moments are what truly embody the essence of the festival for me.”

Regarding his Diwali plans this year, Karan noted, “This year’s Diwali feels a bit more grounded. I am prioritizing quality time with my loved ones, celebrating unity, and embodying the spirit of light and positivity in all my endeavors.” While speaking with IANS, Karan extended his wishes to his fans for the festive occasion, saying, “Wishing all my fans a very Happy Diwali. May your homes be filled with light, laughter, and love. I am immensely grateful for your unwavering support; you play a significant role in my journey. For those unfamiliar, Karan Mehra, who gained fame for his portrayal of Naitik Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, began his television career with the show in 2009.

He was part of the series for over seven years, winning the audience’s hearts with his calm and lovable depiction of an ideal husband and son. His on-screen chemistry with Akshara, played by Hina Khan, became one of television's most adored couples.

Karan departed from the show in 2016 due to health issues. After his exit, he participated in reality shows like Bigg Boss 10 and Nach Baliye 5. The actor later appeared in TV serials such as Khatmal-E-Ishq and Shubharambh.
