Bengaluru, May 15 (NationPress) The Karnataka division of the BJP on Thursday held the Tiranga Yatra in Bengaluru to honor the courageous soldiers of the Indian armed forces who executed Operation Sindoor successfully. Thousands of participants, including party officials, local residents, students from schools and colleges, and women, joined the event.
The procession commenced at the Sirur Sports Ground located on Sampige Road in Malleswaram and concluded at 18th Cross, Malleswaram.
Waving a large Tricolour, attendees gathered to show their solidarity for Operation Sindoor. The event was organized under the banner of “Citizens for National Defence” to convey appreciation and support for the personnel of the Indian armed forces.
The rally was filled with chants such as ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, ‘victory to the patriotic soldiers who taught Pakistan a lesson’, and ‘glory to the brave soldiers who brought India honour on the world stage’.
Retired Air Marshal A.V. Murali spoke at the event, asserting, “Operation Sindoor is not over. If it happens again, Pakistan will be wiped out. PoK will become part of India.”
He emphasized the nation’s resolve to teach Pakistan a lesson and commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his political determination.
“The entire nation stood behind the soldiers,” he remarked, while also acknowledging the vital contribution of women in responding strongly to Pakistan.
During her address, advocate Kshama Naragund remarked, “Operation Sindoor was a fitting reply to the terrorists who defiled the sindoor (vermilion) of our women. Our armed forces responded with precision. This yatra has been organized to thank our soldiers for their brave actions.”
