Patna, May 8 (NationPress) During the recent all-party meeting held in New Delhi to deliberate on the Indian Army's Operation Sindoor, political figures from various parties in Bihar have reaffirmed India's stance against terrorism. They emphasized that the military operation was aimed solely at terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), ensuring that no civilians were harmed.
Dilip Jaiswal, the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar, remarked: "Our defense forces executed their mission with precision, targeting nine specific locations where terrorist camps were based. No innocent civilians in Pakistan were affected."
He continued, "We harbor no animosity towards the innocent people of Pakistan. However, the persistent support for terrorism by Pakistan is evident to the global community, and India will take action against those who harbor or promote terrorism."
In response to comments made by Congress leaders Udit Raj and Prithviraj Chavan, Jaiswal chose not to engage directly.
"There are countless leaders within the Congress party. I cannot address each one individually. Had prominent figures like Rahul Gandhi or Mallikarjun Kharge spoken, I would have responded. Nevertheless, to my knowledge, Congress has officially backed the government and praised the Indian Army regarding this matter," Jaiswal stated.
Union Minister and senior JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as Lalan Singh, condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which targeted innocent tourists.
"The terrorists aimed at Hindus and took their lives. They instructed the victims' wives to inform Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the attack. This heinous act has enraged every Indian," Union Minister Singh expressed.
He commended the precision of Operation Sindoor, stating: "Our forces displayed extraordinary courage and accuracy. They successfully targeted terrorist training facilities in Pakistan and PoK without harming civilians or nearby Pakistani military installations. This clearly indicates that India's fight is against terrorism, not against civilians or any nation's military."
Union Minister Singh also endorsed the results of the all-party meeting.
"All political parties unified in their support for the operation and praised the valor of our defense personnel. The entire nation stands in solidarity with the armed forces," he concluded.
