Bengaluru, May 12 (NationPress) Criticizing the ruling party for displaying a map that represents Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan, the BJP asserted on Monday that the Karnataka Congress’s IT cell operates like a "sleeper cell for Pakistani terrorists".
The Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, R. Ashoka, remarked, “Before Operation Sindoor commenced, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, known for his anti-war stance towards Pakistan, experienced public backlash leading him to reverse his position.”
He added that while Operation Sindoor dismantled terrorist strongholds, the Congress party's calls for peace on social media sparked public outrage, forcing them to delete the controversial post.
“By sharing a map on X that illustrates Kashmir as belonging to Pakistan, the Karnataka Congress has again demonstrated its affection for a rogue state like Pakistan,” Ashoka stated.
