Kolkata, April 2 (NationPress) In the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) showdown at Eden Gardens, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Ajinkya Rahane successfully won the toss and opted to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday. The home team retained their unchanged lineup.
Both teams had previously scored over 200 in their opening match but fell short due to subpar bowling efforts. “We have decided to bowl first. There's always space for improvement, but many positives emerged from our last game,” Rahane stated after the toss.
