Lalu Prasad Yadav Opens Nursing Facility in Mahua, Bihar

Patna, Dec 12 (NationPress) The chief of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Lalu Prasad Yadav, inaugurated a new private nursing facility located at Jawahar Chowk in the Mahua block of Vaishali district, Bihar.

The inauguration event was attended by numerous significant party figures, including former minister Shivchand Ram and ex-MLA Prema Chaudhary, all under strict security measures.

RJD MLA Mukesh Roshan, who represents the Mahua Assembly seat, welcomed Lalu Yadav at Ram Ashish Chowk in Hajipur, showing his appreciation and support alongside party workers.

In a twist, Lalu Prasad’s son, Tej Pratap, has expressed his desire to run for the Mahua seat in the forthcoming Assembly elections, which has created tension for Roshan.

Speaking to the media, Tej Pratap reaffirmed his deep ties to Mahua, asserting, "My body may be anywhere, but my soul remains in Mahua."

He highlighted his previous contributions to the region, including funding for development projects and the establishment of a medical college during his previous term.

Previously, Roshan conveyed his anxiety about losing the seat, emotionally stating, "Tej Pratap is Lalu Prasad's son. How can I compare myself with him? I am a small worker."

This announcement has escalated the internal dynamics within the RJD, increasing speculation about potential changes in the party's electoral tactics for the Mahua constituency.

The upcoming Bihar Assembly elections have brought to light the internal political tensions within the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), especially concerning the Mahua constituency.

In light of Tej Pratap's intentions, Roshan discussed his future options, stating, "If I do not contest the Assembly election, I will not return to the village to plough the fields. I am also a doctor and will run a clinic. There are many other ways to serve the public."
