In the early hours, Nitin Nabin landed at Darbhanga Airport and went straight to Sanjay Saraogi's home to honor the portrait of Radha Devi Saraogi.
Throughout the day, numerous BJP leaders and representatives from the NDA came to express their condolences to the family.
Notables in attendance included Nityanand Rai, the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bihar's Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Dilip Jaiswal, the Industry Minister, and Sanjay Jaiswal, the MP from Bettiah, along with many other senior NDA figures.
While paying tribute, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan stated that he prayed for strength and resilience for the family and peace for the departed.
“Losing a mother is profoundly painful. I pray that God grants the family the courage to cope with this loss and bestows eternal peace on her soul,” remarked the Governor.
After concluding an Assembly session in Patna, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also visited Darbhanga to pay his respects to Radha Devi Saraogi, standing in solidarity with the grieving family.
Radha Devi Saraogi passed away on February 13 at the age of 72, after battling health issues for several days and receiving treatment at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
Known for her deep religious conviction and active involvement in social initiatives, her passing has left her family and well-wishers in deep sorrow.
Sanjay Saraogi was appointed as the BJP State President on December 15, 2025.
