The total premium income for the nine-month duration ending December 31, 2025, amounted to Rs 3,71,293 crore, a notable increase from Rs 3,40,563 crore recorded for the same period last year, reflecting a growth of 9.02 percent.
In the individual new business segment, premium income reached Rs 44,941 crore, up from Rs 42,441 crore in the previous year, a growth of 5.89 percent. The individual renewal premium income for the nine months ending December 31, 2025, was reported at Rs 1,91,050 crore, compared to Rs 1,78,975 crore in the previous year, marking an increase of 6.75 percent.
The total individual business premium for the nine-month period ending December 31, 2025, surged to Rs 2,35,991 crore, up from Rs 2,21,416 crore in the previous year, with a growth rate of 6.58 percent. For the group business, total premium income for the same period was Rs 1,35,302 crore, compared to Rs 1,19,147 crore last year, marking an impressive increase of 13.56 percent.
