They will be joined by 20,000 MY Bharat Youth Volunteers as part of the celebrations for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on February 19, emphasizing his bravery and valor that continue to motivate a Viksit Bharat, as stated in an official announcement.

The march will traverse a picturesque route of about four kilometers, commencing from COEP College Ground and concluding at Fergusson College.

This marks the first instance of such a large-scale march occurring simultaneously across all 36 districts of Maharashtra, uniting youth, local leaders, and community members, as per the statement.

To enhance the spirit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, various pre-march activities have been organized throughout all districts of Maharashtra. These include initiatives like cleanliness drives at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statues and other historical sites.

The events also feature yoga sessions aimed at fostering physical and mental health, insightful lectures on the life and leadership of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and cultural competitions celebrating his enduring legacy.

The 'Jai Shivaji, Jai Bharat' march in Pune is the sixth in a series of 24 Padyatras planned to mark 75 years of the Constitution and to celebrate India's rich cultural diversity.

Similar events will be conducted nationwide throughout the year, nurturing patriotism and a stronger connection to India's profound heritage, the statement further explained.

The Youth Affairs Ministry encourages young individuals across India to get involved by registering on the MY Bharat Portal (www.mybharat.gov.in) and participate in this pride-inducing march honoring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's legacy and his vision of a united, self-reliant India.

MY Bharat is an initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports aimed at empowering Indian youth through social mobility, educational equity, and practical skill development.

Last month, leading up to the 76th Republic Day, Mandaviya hosted 200 MY Bharat youth volunteers and their families, along with 160 distinguished athletes in New Delhi, acknowledging their significant contributions to nation-building and excellence in sports.
