Having finished third at the R&A Girls Championship last year, Mannat placed 16th in the stroke-play round and triumphed in two matches, propelling her to the pre-quarters.

She began her match-play journey with a victory over Germany’s Uma Bergner, winning 5 & 4 in the Round of 64 on the opening day. Mannat gained an impressive five-hole lead with just four holes remaining.

The following day, she showcased her resilience by overcoming Ireland’s Rebekah Gardner on the 21st hole. After falling three down with only three holes left, Mannat achieved an incredible comeback, winning the final three holes to force extra play. Both players shared pars on the first extra hole, but Mannat parred the second and Gardner bogeyed, leading Mannat to victory.

In the Round of 16, Mannat faced a challenging match against Spain’s Paula Francisco. After trailing by three holes after 10, she rallied back with a birdie on the 11th, a par on the 13th, and another birdie on the 15th to level the match. They both parred the 16th and 17th holes, but Mannat lost narrowly on the 18th, ending her impressive run.

With this victory, Francisco has set up an all-Spanish quarter-final against Paula Martin Sampedro, both having fought hard to secure their places in the final eight.

The champion of this year’s event will be granted entry to prestigious tournaments including the AIG Women’s Open, The Amundi Evian Championship, US Women’s Open, Chelsea Championship, and an invitation to the Augusta National Women's Amateur.
