Nairn (Scotland), June 12 (NationPress) Mannat Brar continued her impressive performance by posting remarkable rounds of 73-71, landing her in Tied-16th place during the stroke-play phase of the esteemed 122nd R&A Women’s Amateur Championship. With the top 64 out of 144 competitors advancing to the match play stage, Mannat successfully qualified.
Mannat is recognized as India’s leading amateur golfer and holds the title of all-India amateur champion. Currently, she holds the 389th position in world rankings and has recently participated in professional tournaments on the Ladies European Tour’s Access series, where she made the cut in one event.
Last year, she secured T-11th place in the Women’s Indian Open, a part of the Ladies European Tour, where she was the highest-placed Indian despite being an amateur.
