The company also experienced a significant uptick in consumer interest, with bookings soaring by almost 25% compared to January 2025.

Demand remains robust across dealerships, with inventory levels dwindling to just three days of stock.

The company’s latest model, the Victoris, has emerged as a vital growth driver.

The cumulative sales of this model have exceeded 50,000 units, with January sales alone reaching 15,240 units.

Partho Banerjee, the Executive Director for Sales and Marketing at Maruti Suzuki, stated that the Victoris is garnering around 600 to 700 bookings daily. He also noted that the CNG variant of the model is experiencing a longer waiting period due to heightened demand.

The mid-size SUV market, typically encompassing vehicles priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, continues to draw strong buyer interest.

This segment includes models such as the Tata Sierra, Maruti Victoris, Mahindra Thar, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos, making it one of the most competitive arenas in the Indian automotive market.

Maruti Suzuki indicated that its market share in the mid-size SUV segment has surged from 12% to 19%. The company also emphasized that average monthly volumes in this segment more than doubled to 21,155 units between October 2025 and January 2026, compared to an earlier average of 10,329 units per month.

Looking forward, Maruti Suzuki has announced plans to launch a new loyalty program for existing customers. This loyalty upgrade initiative will initially encompass three models: the Grand Vitara, Victoris, and Invicto.

Customers can anticipate benefits in the form of direct price reductions, added accessories, or a mix of both.
