Bhopal, April 10 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Madhya Pradesh on April 11 to participate in a religious event at Anandpur Dham, situated in the Ashok Nagar district, roughly 200 km from Bhopal.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will perform prayers at the Guru Ji Maharaj Temple and explore the temple complex at Anandpur Dham.
The government of Madhya Pradesh has remarked that this visit reflects PM Modi’s dedication to advancing India’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy.
Anandpur Dham, established for spiritual and charitable endeavors, covers an area of 315 hectares and features a modern gaushala (cowshed) that accommodates over 500 cows, along with agricultural initiatives under the Shri Anandpur Trust.
The Shri Anandpur Trust has been managing a charitable hospital in the Sukhpur village, Isagarh Tehsil, since 1977. The hospital provides medical services, including Cardiology, Physiotherapy, and Ophthalmology, catering to around 600 patients each day.
The Trust also runs Anand Primary School (Sukhpur), Anand Secondary School (Anandpur), and Anand Middle School (Sukhpur), currently enrolling 1,215 students with 62 teachers.
Additionally, the Trust operates prominent Satsang Centers across the nation, including Shri Prayagdham in Pune (Maharashtra) and the Shri Anandpur Satsang Trust in Jammu, among others.
On April 13, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also visit Madhya Pradesh for the 'Gopal Sammelan', a gathering of state-level cooperative milk producers.
During the Home Minister's visit, a partnership agreement between the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), the state government, and milk unions will be formalized at Ravindra Bhavan in Bhopal.
This event will likely also witness the signing of a collaboration agreement between the MP State Co-operative Dairy Federation Limited, associated milk unions, and the NDDB.
It is noteworthy that this agreement was initially slated for signing on the last day of the Global Investment Summit (GIS) on February 25, but was postponed.
