Bhopal, April 11 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched down in Madhya Pradesh on Friday and is set to engage in a variety of cultural activities at Anandpur Dham, situated in the Ashoknagar district.

During his stay, he will journey to significant sites linked to the Paramhans Advaita sect, take part in a satsang programme, and meet influential figures, including the state Governor, Mangu Bhai Patel, and the Chief Minister.

He will also pay respects at Anand Sarovar and enjoy prasad at the langar.

Shri Anandpur Dham serves as a vital religious hub in the area, featuring satsang halls, a 125-bed charitable hospital, and a modern gaushala (cowshed) that houses over 500 cows. The center also runs primary and secondary schools, educating thousands of students.

The Prime Minister's agenda involves traveling by both helicopter and plane, with a brief stop in Gwalior before heading back to Delhi in the evening.

According to the timetable, Prime Minister Modi will first visit three significant temples affiliated with the Paramhans Advaita sect. He will then offer floral tributes at Anand Sarovar, visit Moti Hall to meet the current guru of the sect, and deliver a speech during the satsang programme.

The local administration has finalized all necessary arrangements for this visit.

Shri Anandpur Dham, located in Isagarh, Ashoknagar, spans 315 hectares and was founded for spiritual and charitable endeavors. It includes a state-of-the-art gaushala with over 500 cows, engages in agricultural activities on the Anandpur Trust campus, and operates a charitable hospital in Sukhpur village.

The trust also manages schools in Sukhpur and Anandpur, alongside a network of numerous satsang centers throughout the nation.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi took part in several programs in Varanasi. He laid the groundwork for a road bridge linking the Varanasi Ring Road to Sarnath, flyovers at Bhikharipur and Manduadih intersections, and a highway underpass road tunnel on NH-31 near Varanasi International Airport, with a combined value exceeding Rs 980 crore, as reported by an official statement.
