Lucknow, Sep 1 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Nishad has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent trip to China as “historic.” He emphasized that even China has shown support for India’s strong position against terrorism.
The Minister remarked that terrorism is a global threat, and no responsible nation endorses it.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Minister Nishad stated, “Prime Minister Modi has committed to eradicating terrorism, and India has made remarkable strides. China acknowledging and backing India’s stance is a reflection of PM Modi’s robust leadership.”
Referring to India as the land of Buddha, Nishad opined, “India purifies those whose minds are tainted. Individuals who support or sympathize with terrorism should recognize this.” He criticized the Opposition, claiming that their disapproval of the PM’s visit to China merely indicates the visit's success and significant impact on a global scale.
Following his recent discussions with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Nishad characterized the CM as a guiding figure and noted that they covered various critical topics, including reservation policies. He conveyed that he received affirmative assurances from the Chief Minister.
Addressing the conclusion of the Voter Adhikar Yatra, the minister harshly critiqued the Opposition, stating, “They started by opposing PM Modi and are now confronting the Election Commission. In politics, one should contend with political factions—not constitutional bodies. Congress is misinforming the public instead of cooperating.”
He endorsed the Election Commission’s decision to carry out the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections. “There are numerous inconsistencies in the voter list. Why is the Opposition apprehensive about rectifying these issues? How can a single individual possess two voter IDs? Why should a deceased person remain on the voter registry?” he questioned.
Nishad accused Congress of creating confusion for over five decades and asserted that today’s voters are vigilant and united behind PM Modi.
Commenting on TMC MP Mahua Moitra’s contentious remarks, Nishad deemed it unfortunate and branded it as appeasement politics. “Everyone understands that such remarks are intended to appease a specific group, but the TMC is losing ground in Bengal,” he asserted.
On the topic of PDA (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak), he alleged that political parties exploit backward communities for vote banks but falter when it comes to delivering justice and rights. “The backward classes will no longer be misled. The PDA narrative lost its traction at Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium itself,” he concluded.
