New Delhi, Sep 17 (NationPress) As the globe marks the birthday of Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extolled the Prime Minister’s remarkable traits, declaring that "God has sent him to Earth with a mission." Reflecting on his initial interactions with PM Modi, Singh praised his creativity, profound empathy, and emotional intelligence.

Utilizing the social media platform X and the hashtag #MyModiStory, Rajnath Singh shared, "Certain experiences shape history. My first encounter with Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi was one of those moments. During his speech in Jhansi, I witnessed the spark of future leadership.

"The qualities of discipline, organizational dedication, profound knowledge, and the bravery to tackle every challenge define him as the leader destined to elevate India. #MyModiStory.

He also recounted his journey with PM Modi, dating back to their early political paths.

“When Murli Manohar Joshi was the National President leading the Yatra, Modi ji served as its convenor,” Rajnath Singh revealed.

“I met him in Jhansi during that period. He spoke for merely 3 to 4 minutes, yet the clarity of his thoughts was incredibly striking. That day, I realized, 'if the BJP has a future, it lies with Modi ji.'”

Defence Minister Singh, who was the BJP’s National President from 2005 to 2009, reminisced about their frequent interactions and emphasized PM Modi’s invaluable contributions during party discussions.

“His insights were always precise, practical, and tremendously beneficial.”

Referring to PM Modi as a disciplined political worker, Defence Minister Singh recounted a memory from the 2009 election campaign: “After the campaign concluded, he visited my residence at Ashoka Road and stated, ‘I’ve come to provide an update. I have accomplished the duties you assigned to me.’ Such dedication is uncommon.”

Despite political pressures, PM Modi consistently retains a pleasant demeanor, Defence Minister Singh noted. “He’s perpetually in a good mood. One would anticipate someone with such a hefty workload to be stressed, yet he never appears so.”

Discussing the 2014 General Election campaign, Defence Minister Singh said, “When Modi ji was appointed to lead the BJP’s election campaign committee and subsequently as the prime ministerial candidate, we traversed 17-18 states together. His vigor and ideas revitalized the campaign.”

Rajnath Singh also disclosed a lesser-known aspect: Narendra Modi had traveled to numerous foreign nations even before assuming the role of Chief Minister of Gujarat and later, Prime Minister.

“He possessed a desire to comprehend not just India, but the world. From a young age, he sought to explore other countries to learn about their cultures and people. Such global awareness is a rare gift,” he stated.

Emphasizing PM Modi's personal traits, Defence Minister Singh remarked, “He possesses a vivid imagination and is deeply compassionate. Upon hearing about a tragedy, his eyes instantly fill with tears. He’s exceedingly diligent, and I genuinely believe that God sent him to Earth for a unique purpose.”

Born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat, Narendra Modi’s journey is a compelling narrative of resilience and vision. Raised in modest surroundings, his father, Damodardas Modi, operated a tea stall at the local railway station, while his mother, Heeraben, was a homemaker. Modi has four brothers and a sister.
