But its people dreamt big, set ambitious goals, and today Singapore has become one of the world's leading business hubs,' he said. He argued that the Union Territory now carries a similarly bold development vision, adding, 'Today, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu are also dreaming the same dream.'

Modi highlighted a cluster of flagship projects the Centre is backing for the region. These include the NAMO Airport, a proposed iconic bridge across the Daman Ganga River, beachfront development initiatives, and a convention centre. 'These projects will make travel easier, create new business opportunities, and advance development on both banks of Daman,' he said.
