New Delhi/Bhopal, Dec 22 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had a significant meeting with the newly appointed BJP Working President Nitin Nabin at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Monday. During this courtesy visit, CM Yadav congratulated the 45-year-old Nabin on his recent appointment as the National Working President of the BJP.
Following the meeting, the Chief Minister shared on X, "Today, in New Delhi, I had a cordial meeting with the newly appointed national working president of the BJP, Nitin Nabin, and congratulated him for a successful tenure."
The BJP recently achieved victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, where CM Yadav addressed over a dozen public rallies. This meeting marked CM Yadav's first official engagement with Nabin since he took over the role last week.
Nabin brings a wealth of governance experience, having served multiple terms as a Minister in the Bihar government. His previous roles include Minister of the Road Construction Department, Urban Development and Housing, and the Law Department.
In 2008, he became a National Executive Committee Member of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and Co-in-charge of the Youth Wing. From 2010 to 2013, he held the position of National General Secretary of the Yuva Morcha. He also served as the Yuva Morcha State President in Bihar from 2016 to 2019 and was the BJP Election In-charge in Sikkim in 2019. In June 2019, he was appointed as the Sikkim State BJP Organisation In-charge.
During his visit to Delhi, CM Yadav also met with Union Minister of State for Law and Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal, at his residence to discuss enhancements in the law and justice sector in the state.
This visit comes just three days ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's anticipated visit to Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25. Shah is expected to lay the foundation stones for new industrial development projects valued over Rs 21 lakh crore and inaugurate several major initiatives in Madhya Pradesh.
