Bhopal, Jan 24 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, is set to engage in various events in his home district of Ujjain this Sunday, where he will inaugurate multiple developmental initiatives.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to unveil a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose sports complex boasting comprehensive sports and recreational amenities at the Atal Complex in Fazalpura on Agar Road, developed by Ujjain Smart City Limited.
This sports facility, designed to offer diverse sporting and leisure activities in one location, has been constructed with an investment of Rs 28.31 crore, as per an official announcement from the Chief Minister's Office on Saturday.
Additionally, Chief Minister Yadav will inaugurate the newly built auditorium and convention center at R.D. Gargi Medical College and take part in the celebrations marking the medical college's silver jubilee.
In other engagements, he will perform the 'bhoomi-pujan' for the regional office of the Patidar community in Ratnakhedi and oversee the expansion of the Hari Phatak bridge from two lanes to six lanes within the city.
On the same day, Chief Minister Yadav will inaugurate the Mahalak Hotel and Resort located in Dendi village of Ujjain.
In the evening, he will participate in a function organized as part of the Rahgiri Anandotsav-2026, where he will interact with mentally challenged and visually impaired children, presenting awards to them.
The Rahgiri Anand Utsav in Ujjain is a well-known annual event held in January aimed at promoting physical activity and social interaction. It features numerous sports activities, including yoga, exercise sessions, cultural performances, and street plays.
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate a free heart disease screening camp at Vidya Bharati Bhavan in Ujjain.
On January 26, the Chief Minister is scheduled to hoist the National Flag in Ujjain to commemorate the 77th Republic Day and will address the state thereafter.
