Mushtaq Khan’s Terrifying Ordeal: Kidnapping Attempt on Delhi-Meerut Highway

Mumbai, Dec 11 (NationPress) Actor Mushtaq Khan, famous for his role in ‘Welcome’ and who has recently appeared in the horror-comedy ‘Stree 2’, disclosed that he was kidnapped from the Delhi-Meerut highway.
According to media sources, the actor was enticed under the guise of attending an award ceremony in Meerut on November 20, but he was unaware that it would turn into one of the most traumatic experiences of his life.
He was supposedly invited to this event, with the kidnappers arranging his flight tickets and transferring an advance payment to his account.
However, upon his arrival in Delhi, events took a drastic turn as he was picked up and transported to a remote area near Bijnor, where he was held captive by his abductors for approximately 12 hours.
The kidnappers subjected him to torture while demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore. Despite his suffering, they only managed to withdraw Rs 2 lakh from Khan's and his son’s bank accounts.
How the actor managed to escape is a tale reminiscent of classic Hindi films from the 1970s. He seized the opportunity to flee after hearing the morning azaan. Upon realizing that a mosque was in proximity, he took advantage of the situation and escaped. He also sought help from the local residents. Mushtaq returned home safely with police assistance.
The police have initiated an investigation into this incident. Mushtaq Khan is reportedly recovering well and is expected to address the media in the coming days to provide a detailed account of his kidnapping.
