Chennai, April 14 (NationPress) The producers of director Sailesh Kolanu's eagerly anticipated film, 'Hit: The Third Case', starring actor Nani in the primary role, unveiled a thrilling trailer on Monday, sparking excitement among fans and cinema enthusiasts.

Actor Nani, who posted the trailer link on his social media platforms, stated, “Let’s meet on May 1st at our favourite place. Theatres.”

The intense trailer has significantly heightened expectations for the film.

It opens with Nani articulating his views to his superiors on how criminals should be dealt with.

“Criminals belong in a 10-feet lock up or deep inside a six-feet hole. No criminal should be free to walk around until they've faced real behavioural correction. You don't have to be personally affected to feel that way. Just being a police officer is enough,” he asserts in a serious tone, hinting at the film's impending drama.

Next, a terrified mother is shown, worried about her nine-month-old baby who has been kidnapped. “What will they do to her? He is 5'9 or 5'10''. He has a few strands of white hair on his beard,” she explains to the police officer regarding her child’s abductor.

Another scene features a shopkeeper describing a soldier who bravely enters a ring to protect the vulnerable.

“Only he knows how many nights and days he has worked tirelessly to save one life,” the shopkeeper narrates. The trailer concludes with a more profound insight into Arjun (Nani)'s character through a short dialogue with his love interest.

When she inquires whether to call him Arjun or Sarkaar, he responds, “When I am in the midst of people, call me Arjun; when I am in the midst of criminals, I am Sarkaar.”

It is worth noting that the filmmakers had previously released a teaser revealing that Nani portrays a determined cop named Arjun Sarkaar.

A sequence of clips in the teaser depicted Arjun Sarkaar employing his skills effectively. It also illustrated how he seeks patterns in crimes to deduce motives. The teaser concluded with a voice-over questioning, “I have had my doubts about you from the first day itself. Are you really a police officer?” Arjun Sarkaar counters, “People have believed this lie for far too long. I will show you the original.”

The film, marking the third installment in the HIT universe, has generated tremendous excitement among fans and cinema lovers alike. It is set to release globally on May 1 of this year.

Directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Prashanthi Tipirneni, the movie will showcase Nani alongside Srinidhi Shetty in leading roles. The film's music is composed by Mickey J Meyer, with cinematography by Sanu John Varghese and editing by Karthika Srinivas R.
