Chennai, April 4 (NationPress) Sailesh Kolanu, the director of actor Nani’s forthcoming film, ‘Hit: The Third Case’, has voiced his disappointment regarding a segment of the media that has leaked critical details of the film, which the creators had aimed to keep as a surprise for viewers.
In a post on his timeline on X, director Sailesh shared, ‘For every single moment of excitement that audiences experience in cinemas, there is a story of a dedicated team working tirelessly for days and nights, pushing beyond their limits. All for that impactful moment we wish to create in the theatre. We take pride in that.’
He then expressed his concerns about the current media landscape.
“It’s disheartening to witness the condition of the media today, where some individuals don’t hesitate to expose details about moments that should be cherished while watching the film in theatres.”
“While the pursuit of being the first to report is understandable, it ultimately comes down to the ethics and values of individual journalists and media organizations to determine whether it is right or wrong to disclose particular findings.”
Reflecting on the past, he noted that journalists once exercised their judgment and refrained from reporting certain events when it was deemed inappropriate, stating, “There have been times when journalists rose above their job descriptions and chose not to cover certain events simply because it was not right. I only wish these individuals possessed that level of integrity.”
The director further emphasized, “This kind of reporting is not merely undermining the hard work of a film crew; it is akin to robbing the audience directly.”
Nani portrays a gritty cop named Arjun Sarkaar in the movie. As the third installment in the HIT universe, the film has generated significant anticipation among fans and film enthusiasts. It is scheduled for a global release on May 1 this year.
Directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Prashanthi Tipirneni, the film features Nani and Srinidhi Shetty in leading roles. The soundtrack is composed by Mickey J Meyer, while Sanu John Varghese handles cinematography and Karthika Srinivas R. is responsible for editing.
