Mumbai, April 27 (NationPress) Telugu actor Nani, who is eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming movie ‘HIT: The Third Case’, has discussed the significant impact of social media on film distribution.
Nani recently engaged in a conversation with IANS leading up to the film’s debut, highlighting that social media has revolutionized the dissemination of information, allowing a film to travel across the country at lightning speed if the content resonates.
Nani expressed to IANS, “It’s remarkable because we're in an era where you no longer have to struggle to create buzz after producing an excellent film. We have social media and various platforms to connect with audiences. If a fantastic film is released in one part of the country, people on the other end will be aware of it within just two days.”
He further linked this phenomenon to the increasing prominence of Indian cinema globally, stating, “Currently, we are witnessing a generation where films from our nation, like ‘RRR’ at the Oscars, are generating significant international attention. This opens numerous opportunities for us to aspire for greatness and think big.”
“This is undoubtedly a very positive development, and I am immensely proud of the films that have achieved recognition already. I am eagerly looking forward to the upcoming films that will surely make their mark soon,” he added.
In the meantime, ‘HIT: The Third Case’ features Nani in the role of SP Arjun Sarkaar, transitioning from his cameo in the previous installment of the franchise to a leading role.
‘HIT: The Third Case’ is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1.
