Chennai, April 25 (NationPress) The Censor Board of Film Certification has officially approved the much-anticipated film, ‘Hit: The Third Case’, directed by Sailesh Kolanu and starring Nani in the lead role, for release with an 'A' rating.

The announcement was made by Nani via his social media accounts, where he shared a photo prominently featuring an 'A'. He captioned it, "A for ARJUN SARKAAR."

The accompanying poster included a cautionary note in fine print stating, "Warning: Sarkaar's rage and violence is certified."

Since the release of a thrilling trailer, the film has generated significant buzz among fans.

The trailer opens with Nani addressing his superiors regarding his perspective on how to deal with criminals.

“Criminals belong in a 10-foot lock-up or deep inside a six-foot hole. No criminal should roam free until they've undergone serious behavioral correction. You don’t need to be personally affected to feel this way. Just being a police officer is sufficient,” he states in a serious tone, hinting at the intense narrative ahead.

In a tense moment, a woman expresses her fears for her abducted nine-month-old baby, saying, “What will they do to her? He is 5'9 or 5'10''. He has a few strands of white in his beard,” as she describes the kidnapper to a police officer.

Another scene features a shopkeeper discussing a soldier who bravely enters a dangerous situation to protect the vulnerable.

“Only he knows how many nights and days he has labored to save one life,” the shopkeeper reflects. The trailer culminates in a conversation that sheds light on Arjun (played by Nani) and his girlfriend.

When she inquires if she should call him Arjun or Sarkaar, he responds, "When I am amidst people, call me Arjun. When I am surrounded by criminals, I am Sarkaar."

Previously, the filmmakers had released a teaser revealing that Nani portrays a tough cop named Arjun Sarkaar.

Scenes in the teaser depicted Arjun Sarkaar effectively utilizing his baton skills, while also showcasing his analytical approach to crime patterns. The teaser concluded with a voice asking, “I’ve had doubts about you from day one. Are you really a police officer?” Arjun Sarkaar replies, “People have believed this lie for far too long. I will show you the original.”

The film, marking the third installment in the HIT universe, is set to premiere worldwide on May 1 of this year.

Directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Prashanthi Tipirneni, the film stars Nani and Srinidhi Shetty. The musical score is composed by Mickey J Meyer, with cinematography handled by Sanu John Varghese. Editing is done by Karthika Srinivas R.
