Karnal, Oct 18 (NationPress) Union Minister Manohar Lal visited Karnal, Haryana, on Saturday and held a press conference to announce an array of nationwide events to celebrate National Unity Day, which honors the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. These events will take place from October 31 to December 31.
He shared that unity marches, spanning 8 to 10 kilometers, will occur across various villages and cities on October 25, 26, and 27, with enthusiastic participation from youth, volunteers, and the community. A grand 'Run for Unity' is scheduled for October 31. The aim, he stressed, is to cultivate a sense of national integration, solidarity, and patriotism among young people. Registrations for these initiatives can be made through the 'Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat)' portal.
Throughout the two-month period, numerous activities such as seminars, exhibitions, and distribution of literature will be organized to enlighten and motivate the youth regarding the life and contributions of Sardar Patel.
