Hyderabad, April 10 (NationPress) The National Commission for Women (NCW) has initiated action regarding the horrific allegation of gang rape of a woman by her husband and his accomplices in Hyderabad.

The Chairperson of the NCW has instructed the Director General of Police in Telangana to ensure the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) under applicable laws, the swift arrest of all suspects, a timely investigation, and sufficient protection for the survivor.

The Commission has requested a comprehensive Action Taken Report within seven days.
