Patna, Feb 12 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, announced on Wednesday that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) stands united in the state, working diligently to achieve success in the upcoming 2025 Assembly elections.
"The NDA is united in Bihar, and we are committed to establishing a government post the 2025 Assembly polls. All partners in the alliance are cooperating closely," CM Nitish stated during an event in Patna honoring Sant Ravidas Jayanti.
Looking back at the advancements made since 2005, CM Nitish pointed out notable enhancements in law and order, observing that previously, citizens were reluctant to step out after dark due to safety issues.
"Thanks to the effective actions taken by our administration, individuals now feel safe to roam even late at night. The state police and other authorities are committed to sustaining and further improving law and order in Bihar," he remarked.
The JD(U) leader took the chance to criticize the former government, led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), asserting they "failed" to implement effective development strategies for the state.
CM Nitish spotlighted the accomplishments under the NDA government, emphasizing the coalition's dedication to Bihar's advancement.
He discussed issues related to casteism and untouchability during the gathering.
Reflecting on societal challenges, he underscored his administration's initiatives since 2005 aimed at uplifting all societal segments.
"Programs like reservations for women and backward classes along with the Vikas Mission have been pivotal in integrating marginalized groups into mainstream society. Currently, we have more than 9,000 Vikas Mitras across the state," he stated.
He also mentioned the establishment of hostels for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes students and the collaborative efforts with the Central government to ensure holistic development.
