Will the NDA Strengthen Bihar? Samrat Choudhary Critiques RJD-Congress at Sasaram Rally
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Patna, Oct 18 (NationPress) Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary fiercely criticized the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) during a significant public gathering at the New Stadium in Sasaram’s Fazalganj, which coincided with the nomination of NDA candidates.
Choudhary directed his remarks at the opposition, stating, “For 40 years, the Congress exploited Bihar, followed by 15 years of RJD's misrule. These parties have only taken advantage of our state, while the NDA government has actively worked to enhance and develop it.”
He emphasized that the NDA administration has prioritized infrastructure improvements, job creation, and attracting industries to Bihar.
“It is now our duty to push this beautified Bihar ahead. A strong NDA means a strong Bihar,” he urged, calling upon the public to back NDA candidates.
Choudhary concluded with optimism that the NDA will regain power in Bihar, asserting that the unity and developmental achievements of the alliance will guarantee success in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
The event also marked the nomination of numerous NDA candidates across Rohtas district.
Among those nominated were Murari Prasad Gautam from the Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPRV) for Chenari, JDU candidate Vashisht Singh for Kargahar, Nagendra Chandravanshi for Nokha, and former MP Mahabali Singh for Karakat.
Snehlata Kushwaha, the spouse of Upendra Kushwaha, leader of the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM)—an NDA ally—formally entered the electoral race.
She submitted her nomination papers to SDM Ashutosh Ranjan, accompanied by her husband and a large assembly of enthusiastic supporters.
At the same event, RLM candidate Snehlata Kushwaha committed to prioritizing development and public welfare in her constituency.
Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha expressed confidence that her candidacy would usher in a new wave of change in the Sasaram region.
The Rashtriya Lok Morcha has secured six assembly seats under the NDA’s seat-sharing agreement, with Snehlata Kushwaha contesting one of these seats.
