The Bhote Koshi, which originates in Tibet and merges with the Gosaikunda stream to form the Trishuli system, carried the destruction deep into Nepal's heartland — all the way to Chitwan, where the river transitions into the Narayani. Infrastructure on both sides of the border was reportedly swept away within hours. 'There was no early warning, and a lot of infrastructure in China was gone in a few hours,' Ale said.

I would say it's a natural disaster also caused by climate change and global warming,' he said.
