Patna, April 14 (NationPress) The concluding session of the Bihar Cabinet was presided over by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday at the Chief Minister's Secretariat, signifying a pivotal chapter in the evolving political dynamics of the state.

This assembly is being recognized as the final cabinet meeting of the current administration.

In attendance were both Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with ministers from various departments, with the meeting spanning about 20 minutes.

Throughout this session, Nitish Kumar officially notified his cabinet members of his intention to resign, paving the way for the dissolution of the present government.

According to sources, a significant proposal regarding the government's dissolution was submitted to the Cabinet and garnered unanimous support.

This agreement effectively facilitates the formal constitutional processes needed to dismantle the current administration.

Although the meeting was brief, it was laden with emotional significance as it marked the end of Nitish Kumar's tenure.

After the meeting, Agriculture Minister Ram Kripal Yadav described the atmosphere as profoundly emotional.

He revealed that the Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt thanks to all—ranging from government officials to political leaders—for their unwavering support during his time in office.

Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha also shared their reflections during the meeting, contemplating the government's journey.

Earlier that day, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated in an event at the Patna High Court to celebrate the birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar, where he honored the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar with floral tributes.

This event was attended by several notable leaders, including Samrat Choudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, and Ashok Choudhary.

In an unforeseen occurrence, a swarm of bees disrupted the state-organized Ambedkar Jayanti event, causing alarm among participants and briefly halting proceedings. Reports indicated that several leaders and attendees suffered minor injuries from bee stings.

Simultaneously, senior leader Sanjay Jha praised Nitish Kumar's leadership, asserting that under his guidance, Bihar has regained its dignity and established a new identity on both national and international platforms.

He emphasized that Nitish Kumar's 21 years of public service have been characterized by a steadfast commitment to development and governance.
