This meeting, conducted at the Chief Minister's Secretariat, saw the participation of Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with all ministers from the outgoing Cabinet.
Bihar Water Resource Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary remarked, “The Cabinet has sanctioned the dissolution of the current Assembly, which is set to conclude on November 19. The Cabinet also expressed gratitude towards the officers and staff for their efforts during the Assembly elections, with all legislators congratulating Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for winning a robust mandate in these elections.”
Post-meeting, Nitish Kumar proceeded to Raj Bhavan and submitted a recommendation letter to the Governor, advocating for the dissolution of the current government.
Consequently, the formation of a new government is underway.
Nitish Kumar has informed the Governor regarding the Cabinet's decision, marking November 19 as the dissolution date for the current Assembly. Until that time, Nitish Kumar shall continue to serve as Chief Minister.
