The primary goal of this visit is to offer practical learning experiences in advanced horticultural practices and climate-resilient agricultural techniques.
Throughout the week-long program, participants will have the opportunity to explore agro-based industries, engage with agricultural experts and entrepreneurs, and visit agro-research centers, focusing on mushroom production technologies, value addition, and modern packaging methods.
A total of 14 farmers selected from various districts, along with an equal number of agricultural officials, are scheduled to travel to Malaysia for this week-long international exposure program starting from April 19.

I have instructed both the officers and farmers to document their daily learnings and submit a report to the government after returning to Odisha,” stated the Agriculture Minister.
He further mentioned to the media that the reports submitted by the officers will be assessed and considered for their promotions.
