Palaniswami has urged all booth-level secretaries of the party to promptly head to their designated areas and ensure that the ongoing special intensive revision of electoral rolls is conducted comprehensively and transparently.
In a comprehensive directive, Palaniswami stated that the Election Commission has set January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date for the current revision initiative.
He highlighted that this process is vital for upholding the integrity of the democratic system and called on party members to stay vigilant against any irregularities or oversights.
Palaniswami instructed booth secretaries to personally visit each polling booth area, verify the information being gathered, and cross-examine entries to guarantee the accuracy of the electoral rolls.
