New Delhi, June 5 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'Aravali Green Wall' project on Thursday, a dedicated initiative focused on reforesting the Aravali mountain range, which represents one of the largest forested areas across four states: Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi.
In celebration of World Environment Day, he also planted a sapling at the Bhagwan Mahavir Vanasthali Park in the capital under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative.
Sharing images from the significant tree planting event, he remarked, “Today, on World Environment Day, we reinforced the Ek Ped Maa ke Naam initiative with a dedicated tree plantation drive.”
